Everyone saw the price come down, decided they could drive more, and bought more gas. Thus higher demand + finite supply = higher prices.

Utah is about two-three weeks behind the rest of the country, so we're riding the curve downward right now. If it makes you feel any better, the cheapest I've seen it here was $2.97, so we're still higher than you after your prices have gone up. AND we have a refinery right here in the state.

I got gas today for $2.94 and considered myself lucky. It's sad to think I'm excited over getting gas for $2.94 a gallon. Sheesh.
